James Siminoff is a serial entrepreneur who has been building businesses for over a decade. In 2003 James was inspired by the archaic nature of voicemail to found the world's first voicemail-to-text company, PhoneTag. James drew from his experience of starting successful companies to develop a system to transcribe voicemail messages into text. In 2007 James received the Entrepreneur Award from Crain's Business New York in recognition for his accomplishments with PhoneTag.
In his position as the CEO of PhoneTag, James is responsible for the overall vision of the company as well as the day-to-day operations. Under James' leadership the company has established itself as the US leader in voicemail to text services and visual voicemail applications; and is operational on over 95 percent of US carriers. The company has received many awards and accolades including two PC Magazine's Four Stars Ratings, The Next Best Thing in Wireless from the Stevens Institute, and Business 2.0's Next Net 25.
James has always fostered an entrepreneurial spirit. His career started in 1998 when he founded Your First Step International, Inc., a company that assisted entrepreneurs in bringing ideas from concept to fruition. In 2000, the company transitioned its main focus to building a global wholesale Voice over IP network. In 2002 James and his network joined Nobel Ltd. one of the world's largest online calling card companies. James left Nobel in 2006 to put his full effort into PhoneTag.
James holds a Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship from Babson College.

Mark joined the PhoneTag team in 2003. As Chief Technology Officer, he is solely responsible for the development of all computing systems and software. Prior to joining PhoneTag, Mark worked for SCME Mortgage Bankers in San Diego, California, here he served as the lead software engineer and was responsible for developing the company's mission critical document imaging system.
Mark has also served as a senior software engineer for CMGI Solutions, S1 Corporation and IntraLinks in Boston, Massachusetts. Most recently, he architected and implemented one of the most competitive document management systems on the market. Mark has ten years of industry experience and is skilled in a wide variety of programming languages and computing platforms.

David is responsible for PhoneTag's marketing, positioning and outreach in the consumer, enterprise and carrier markets. Over the past 12 years David has served as an independent marketing consultant, successfully guiding numerous tech and telecom companies through their marketing challenges. David served as the Director of Corporate Communications for Cignal Global Communications, a global IP voice and data carrier. While there, he was responsible for all marketing programs and external communication including: media relations, web-based communications, marketing collateral, and brand positioning.
In addition to serving as CMO at PhoneTag, he is a professor of marketing and media relations at Emerson College. David holds a Master of Arts in integrated marketing communication from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston University.

William Scholz, Ph.D., is a thought leader in speech-related applications and has been recognized as one of the top ten experts in speech technology by Speech Technology magazine. He has over 30 years of experience in cognitive science, computer-aided instruction, expert systems, advance software development and speech/natural language processing. He is a frequent industry speaker and has authored numerous publications. He has worked extensively with domestic and international organizations in architectural design, speech technologies, knowledge-based systems and integration strategies. Dr. Scholz's focuses are integration strategy; software architecture; speech application development and methodology; service creation environments; and technology assessments.
